MoU between NSSF and ANKA

MoU between Nepal School Sports Federation (NSSF) and All Nepal Kabaddi Association (ANKA)

July 13, 2025, Kathmandu, Nepal, The Nepal School Sports Federation (NSSF) and the All Nepal Kabaddi Federation (ANKA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to help improve Kabaddi in Nepal's school sports system. The MOU aims to assist and promote Kabaddi growth among school athletes on a national and global scale.

The agreement allows the NSSF and ANKA to work together to attract and include school-age kabaddi enthusiasts, as well as to foster collaboration between local governments and other groups participating in the school sports system. The MOU covers a variety of aspects of incorporating Kabaddi into the school sports ecosystem, including school event bidding, Kabaddi infrastructure development, regulation and governance, training and capacity building, tournaments and competitions, resource allocation, reporting and evaluation, research and education, and promotional activities.

The signing ceremony was attended by dignitaries such as NSSF President Binod Shrestha, ANKA President Tulsi Thapa, and NSSF Secretary General Raj Kumar Karki, who is also a member of the ISF Executive Committee. Additionally, ANKA Secretary General Mr. Arbind Kumar Jha, NSSF Board Member/CFO Mr. Sobin Raj Regmee, ANKA Board Member Sarad Darshandhari, and ANKA Coach were present.

This MOU represents a new chapter of ANKA and NSSF collaboration to advance Kabaddi in school sports.
