Rt. Hon. Speaker Devraj Ghimire inaugurated 13th NSSF Kinder Olympic
Saturday 27th of December 2025Kathmandu, Nepal—The historic 13th NSSF Kinder Olympic was officially inaugurated by Rt. Hon. Speaker Devraj Ghimire on December 27 at Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 4,000 preschool children studying in nursery, LKG, and UKG, who showcased their skills across 12 different sports disciplines.
This landmark event represents a major turning point in the journey of the Kinder Olympic, a flagship school sports program dedicated to fostering sportsmanship, physical fitness, and holistic development among young children across Nepal. The Kinder Olympic torch and mascot symbolized unity, discipline, fair play, and the vibrant spirit of youth sports.
Organized under the leadership of the Nepal School Sports Federation (NSSF), the Kinder Olympic aims to provide a safe, structured, and joyful sporting environment for preschool and primary-level children. The program promotes early exposure to sports culture while aligning with national and international sporting and Olympic values.
