Welcome to NSSF

The Nepal School Sports Federation (NSSF) is the sole governing organization dedicated to the development, promotion, management, and regulation of school sports in Nepal. NSSF is registered under the National Sports Council (NSC), the supreme sports authority of Nepal, and works to establish school sports as a strong foundation for the development of Nepalese sports.

NSSF is internationally connected and recognized as a member of the International School Sport Federation (ISF) and maintains cooperation with international and regional organizations including the Asian School Sports Federation (ASSF), International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA) and International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE).

NSSF's fundamental philosophy is that school sports are the foundation of national sports development. Through systematic participation, talent identification, coaching, competitions, teacher training, and international exposure, NSSF aims to provide every school student with an opportunity to participate in sport and develop discipline, leadership, teamwork, confidence, and healthy lifestyles and to integrate physical education with academics, nurturing students to become well-rounded individuals.
